Make yourself at home among 500 acres of stunning woodlands and gardens on the banks of Loch Ness; this outstanding Scottish Baronial Castle has been authentically restored to the highest standards, boasting breathtaking beauty and a timeless tranquil atmosphere.

The prolific and diverse writer, Lynne Truss, renowned for her bestseller, ‘Eats, Shoots and Leaves’ invites you to an intimate house party in one of Scotland’s finest castles. Truss, also a regular broadcaster for BBC Radio 4, has adapted and written many radio plays. Her most recent publication ‘Get her off the pitch!’ is a wonderfully witty account of her life as a sports writer in contrast she has also written two books about Lord Tennyson, which provide a fascinating connection with Aldourie and Victorian aesthetes, as this inspiring setting was the family home of Mary Seton Watts, wife of G.F. Watts. Eminent painter and close friend of Tennyson.
